It’s only been 4 days?

Today we move to a hostel about 30 minutes away in the Sukhumvit area. Saying goodbye to our incredibly cushy landing at this hotel and without the safety net of Xiao Yi. I am hoping today is full of exploring temples and perhaps puppy yoga? Never thought those things would be in the same sentence but hey! When in Bangkok.

A few favorite moments so far:

Looking around a room and seeing faces that look like mine.

Getting caught in an absolute downpour while sitting under a hole filled umbrella eating pad thai made by a woman at a random cart on a very wet street.

Jaunting around chinatown peeking into local artist alcoves, tea shops and little hipster coffee shops.

Being herded by a tiny Thai woman on an express boat along the Chaophraya River.

Having easily the best meal I’ve ever experienced at Nawa courtesy of Xiao Yi for the boujee-est send off dinner ever.
